Problems Selecting Items for Copy and Paste Acrobat 9

Hi,

 

I have a client who is using Acrobat 9. For some reason, he is no longer able to use the selection tool in any PDF's to copy out parts of his drawings. I've made sure the selection tools is active from the toolbar.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    What is the version of Acrobat (See Help->About Adobe Acrobat) and what OS is the client working upon???

    Also, if you can, kindly share some sample file.
