Training Videos don't play...

Hopefully a quick question...

 

I'm ready to start the training but none of the videos play. When I click the video on the web page I get a long vertical rectangle with an X in the upper left corner. After downloading and storing the videos, using RealPlayer, only the audio can be heard, but no video. Did I miss something?

    Hi CJM,

     

    If you are watching the videos online, which browser are you using?  I can watch the videos online directly from the Flex in a Week site and I also downloaded the Day 1 videos; they played fine on QuickTime Player.  If you provide more information maybe we can help you.

    Thanks for the quick reply. With regard to more detail, I’m using Internet Explorer 7 / Version 7.0.5730.13. The one viewer I didn’t have installed was QuickTime. I downloaded it based on your reply and the Videos now run.

     

     

     

    When run from the browser, an ActionScript error pops up;

     

    SecurityError: Error #2122: Security sandbox violation: LoaderInfo.content: http://tv.adobe.com/cdn/desktop/swf/player.swf cannot access http://thumbnails.tv.adobe.com/74808125-1C23-D1F3-EFA78BBDE1975DE4.jpg. A policy file is required, but the checkPolicyFile flag was not set when this media was loaded.

     

                    at flash.display::LoaderInfo/get content()

     

                    at com.player.view::EmbedScreenView/onImageComplete()

     

     

     

    When I dismiss (ignore) the error, the videos run fine.

     

     

     

    There are no issues if I run the videos I downloaded to my local machine.
