Hi
I am getting Missing plugin alert even though I have placed all persistance implemention classes and boss classes into there corresponding IgnoreTags resource.
I gets this Missing plugin warning, when I do the following specific process
1. Creates a new document.
2. Creates a text frame and filling it with the place holder text.
I am doing these steps without starting my plugin functionality.
3. Save and Quit InDesign.
4. Removed my plugin from the InDesign.
5. Opening this document does not pop up the alert. And this is working as expected.
Now if I duplicate the text frame after step 2 and performs all the remaining steps then the warning come.
1. Creates a new document.
2. Creates a text frame and filling it with the place holder text.
3. Duplicate this text frame(copy and paste this frame).
I am doing these steps without starting my plugin functionality.
4. Save and Quit InDesign.
5. Removed my plugin from the InDesign.
6. Opening this document does not pop up the alert.
I have debugged to detect all the possible part of the code where are plugin data gets persisted. But did got the call there during these operation mentioned.
Any suggestion or idea for getting this fixed will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Hi,
I think my question may not be clear, so let me refine it.
Infact, my plugin is persisting data on document and it's pageitem. All persistent implementation and enclosing boss classes are inside the IgnoreTags resource.
But I am getting this warning dialog only when I try to open a InDesign document created previously with my plugin loaded and I had performed "copy-paste" of page-item on it. Also while creating that doc my plugin functionality hadn't started.
Any advice for this mis-behaviour will be of great help.
Thanks
