I need a Photoshop Elements 9 serial number.

I installed the program on my computer last week.  A couple days ago I contracted some weird virus that crashed my computer.  I should have kept the packaging I guess but all I have now is the disk.  I checked my computers registry to see if there was any remnant of the number but there was'nt.  I know that I can use a keygen or some other illegal software but I would prefer to resolve this the right way.  Where could I get my serial number?  Or one that works?

 

Any help would be nice.

    You threw everything out, including the installation disks?

     

    Did you register the product? Did you purchase directly from us? These are the only two ways we'd have your serial number on record. If you purchased the product from someone else and didn't register, then I'm afraid your serial number is gone. We'd need some form of proof of purchase to issue an new serial number, of course.

    I have a similar problem to this. I'm switching to a new computer, but I can't find my elements 9 box with my disks. I know I didn't throw it out, but I just can't seem to find it. I registered it with my former account, but I forgot my password and got rid of that email, so I can't retrieve anything. Can you help?

    i dont know if i registerd  my eliments 9  but i have had it for just over a year and now it saying to re put in the serial num but i have misplaced the number that was in side  the box ...still got the box but caint find my serial num please may you help my email is [Removed]

    If you log into your adobe store account, you should be able to retrieve the serial number there if you registered it. (If you signed up for photoshop.com, it's registered.)
