Dr Brown Service Installer - Not Digitally Signed?

Feb 17, 2012 4:57 PM

I just went to install Russell Brown's Image Processor Pro script, which I downloaded from russellbrown.com, and in going through the automated installation instructions, the Adobe Extension Manager emitted the following message:

DrBrownError.jpg

I'm a bit wary of installing unsigned software. Surely Russell must have a code signing certficate.

Are others seeing this message?

    Hi Noel,

I didn't see any signature in the package of "Russell Brown's Image Processor Pro script". What I got are 5 png files, 2 jsx files, 1 xml file and 1 mxi file( Are we talking the same sutff? ). All of them have nothing to do with signature. I think it is why you got the warning above. Anyway, if you are sure this extension is safe, you can click "Install" to ingore the warning message.
