Cannot get button to link to a URL?

Literally simply cannot get buttons to link to url in FC...

 

I create a text box, put some text in it, I convert the artwork to a button, I click add interactions, I select "on click", "go to URL", "http://google.com", "open in any window" and "in any state" AND IT SIMPLY REFUSES TO LINK WHEN I TEST IT IN A BROWSER. "Accept mouse events" is ticked. "Hand cursor" is ticked. What is going on? Making me a bit crazy!
