SWF to PPT Conversion Help

Feb 24, 2012 9:44 AM

I've been asked to- make a presentation using a flash swf file inside of a webbased HTML file. This means loading the SWF file into a webrowser and using a mouse or clicker to go from screen to screen as if it was a PowerPoint presentation.  Since I can't edit those slides like I need to, I'm stuck.

So, is there a way to convert the SWF "presentation" into a PPT presentation? (Embeding a SWF into a PPT slide is easy enough, but defeats the purpose.)

The only manual way I thought of was to do a screen print of each SWF "slide" and insert each of those into a separate slide---that would mean over 350 screen prints!!

Any help on this would be much appreciated.  Thanks.

What do you need to edit about the slides to get the swf working as a presentation that you think you cannot do?

If you have the original fla source file for the swf, you can use that to edit the slides and create a new swf.  You should rightfully have the original fla file if you have the rights to use/modify the content of the swf at all.
