Okay, first off, wow, how did I even get here? Took only half an hour, but I'll try to leave criticism out of the door (even though it is completely warrented) as I'm afraid I may be dealing with mr.sensitive.
My program will not open .VOB files from my DVDs, why? It keeps saying it won't open .VOB. Surely this is a common and unwarrented issue and can easily be resolved, but whenever I check other forum posts, instead of answering the questions the mods have the audacity to state the history of .VOB files (seriously, who cares?).
Can I please please PLEASE just be told how to fix this, I don't care about the history of .VOB files etc. I'm trying to create art here and this distruption is a major hindrance.
...LOOOL okay they are, but seriously fair use, and how else does everyone else do it?
See first note:
I would just contact the creator and © holder, explain the inteneded use and ask for either copies of the original files, prior to authoring to DVD (quality will be better), or for copies of the DVD(s) without copy protection. If they also consider it fair use, they will most likely accommodate you.
