I would REALLY like for Acrobat (X Pro) to allow any user to specify within the "Preferences" the folder or subdirectory where files should be saved, rather than the embedded (and unchangeable) default which Adobe developers seem to believe is appropriate. Since that embedded default lies within the root directory, I have to change it EACH AND EVERY TIME in order to place files into the subdirectory in a different logical drive where I wish to place anything I've downloaded or have created. This has been a running request for so long among its user community, and Adobe consistently ignores it with every new version that's released. I'm strongly inclined more and more to believe the developers must actually view users of its purchased/legitimate product as misguided imbeciles. Please give us users more control over how and where that default setting is established!
