When I try to install Presenter, the error "Unable to detect Microsoft PowerPoint" appears.

Based on the 7.07 release notes, I thought this issue was addressed.

Hi,

Presenter 7.0.7 will work for PowerPoint 2010 32 bit not 64bit.

Adobe Presenter 7.0.7 is 32 bit application and it work with PowerPoint 2007/2010 32bit. Windows can be 64 bit.

Thanks

Thanks for the clarification. Perhaps such simple language can be included in the system requirements page.

It is stated on the system requirements page for Presenter. The following statement is from here: http://www.adobe.com/products/presenter/systemreqs/

Adobe wrote:

Customer can use Adobe Presenter on 64-Bit system. However he need to ensure that the Microsoft Office 2007/2010 which is installed on machine must be 32-Bit, not 64-Bit. So this means Adobe Presenter will work on a 64-Bit Windows Operating System which has 32-Bit of Office 2007/2010 installed on it.

For whatever reason I came across this URL which does not list that information

http://www.adobe.com/ap/products/presenter/systemreqs/

Notice the directory 'ap'

Based on my browsing history...

I used  google in Chrome and  typed in adobe presenter which gave me the main link along with sub site links: One was Presenter 7, which I then clicked on

From there I clicked on the "System Requirements" link with that page leading me to the above link.

Interesting, that is the Asia Pacific version of that page, thus 'ap'.
