Unlimited IP multicast, 500 RTMFP unicast and 500 RTMFP P2P introductions

Hello,

 

I see in http://www.adobe.com/products/flash-media-server-family/buying-guide-c omparison.html that Flash Media Interactive Server 4.5 supports unlimited IP multicast, 500 RTMFP unicast and 500 RTMFP P2P introductions.

Does it mean that for unlimited number of publishers I could have 500 subscribers? or it means that I could have 500 publishers and unlimited subscribers? Can anyone help me?

    it means you can have 500 RTMFP connections to the server. each of those connections could be publishing and subscribing to any* number of client-server streams and doing any* amount of P2P stuff.

     

    * "any" limited by CPU, memory, and network capacity of course.
