Credit Card payment rejected because of wrong address

Question:

 

 

I have set up a subscription form and added the credit card processing to the form for charging dues for members.  However, the transaction is being rejected with an error saying the address doesn't match address on card - there is an address field on the form, however it was not part of the credit card portion that is added in the form builder.  Has anyone had this happen or know how to solve?

 

 

Answer:

 

You need to provide more specific information, a link to the form would help, what payment gateway are you using etc.

 

In general, the banks require the card holders address to match that of the person filling in that form. Make sure you add the billing address to your registation form and that will usually solve this problem.
