How to "reset" PSE 10 downloader so it won't skip photos on camera?

I have just downloaded PSE 10, and have an iMac running OS x 10.7.3 Lion.  I ran PSE 10 photo downloader and told it to name files and folders by shot date.  It renamed the files using incorrect, random dates.  I found a fix on these forums for that bug, deleted the incorrectly named files and folders, installed the hotfix, and tried again.  Second try, Downloader says it is skipping 2/3 of the photos on my camera because they are "duplicates".  The photos are NOT duplicates.  They were incorrectly named during a previous download, and erased from my computer.

 

How do I get this software to finally work properly?  Is there someway to tell Downloader to ignore what it thinks are duplicates and let ME decide?!?

    Did you insure that the files were deleted from EO before you tried to import again.

    As a workaround you can copy those file into your computer manually and import into your organizer directly from your computer without using APD
