is it possible to post a like on an element on facebook as the current logged in user in an as3 application?

Facebook.api(likes) does not work...

i think i didn't explained myself... my as3 app let's the user browse thru friends photos and albums and wanted to give the ability to like and post comments on friends photos like in facebook's normal photo viewer.
