If my e-mail is intercepted, can the bad guys just click on the SendNow link and download my file?
Good day,
With a paid subcription to SendNow, one of the features you have available to you is the ability to require sign in to download a file. This means that in order to receive the file you're sending, they must log into the SendNow system with their Adobe ID. This is another layer of security for your files.
In the unlikely event that your recipient's email is intercepted, the 'bad guys' will need that person's Adobe ID credentials as well to access the file.
Please let us know if you have any questions!
Kind regards,
David

Good day,
Sorry for the confusion.
The recipient doesn't need to have a paid subscription. Only the sender to utilize that feature. The recipient needs only to have (or create if they don't have one) an Adobe ID and log into the SendNow application to receive the file. As we offer a free version of SendNow to everyone, there's no cost to your recipient.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Kind regards,
David

Good day,
If you're looking for information about the overall security Adobe uses for SendNow, you can find that information here: http://www.adobe.com/acom/systemreqs/
The steps I outlined above are the only ones I can think of to address the scenario you put forth. If there's a specific question I'm not addressing, please let me know and I'll try to do so.
Kind regards,
David

Yes, the overall security might be low, but I see a few advantages:
Trust: personally I trust Adobe much more than Google, Microsoft, Dropbox or iCloud
PAssword: as far as I understood, I can set a password to open files
Logging: you can track every download of a file. at least you know that the bad guys are watching you
In my eyes, this is the most trustworthy filesharing service on the web. Adobe has too much to loose.
I'm amazed at how rude and ungrateful this "bucket of warm spit" guy is for a free service. If you don't like it, don't use it. If you want security, you were given a method. I'm a normal customer with no connection to Adobe, so permit me to say this -- Adobe owes you nothing. Have the courtesy to say thank you for a free service. Or enjoy the bucket of spit you'll get from other less reputable companies.

I’m actually paying $120/yr for the service. After several Adobe reps gave me the party line I finally connected with a supervisor that actually answered the question. He said that the bad guys could indeed intercept the e-mail and download the file. An informed decision about whether something is liked or not is not possible without the facts. What’s ‘rude’ is refusing to answer a simple question to avoid an embarrassing answer and putting trusting customers at risk. Although some customers attach nothing more important than pictures of their dog, others may be sending confidential documents and are more concerned with the security.
