After installing Audition 1.5, can not record in Edit window

Hello,

 

We have 2 instalations of Audition 1.5, one on XP Pro SP3, the other on Windows 7 Pro, both using M Audio Mark 44s.

 

My users can record in the multi window but not in the edit window.

 

Any ideas or direction to take?

    Go to the hardware setup - the settings for Edit View recording and Multitrack View recordings are separate, and it sounds as though one is configured correctly and the other isn't.

    In AA 1.5 you have to select Use in EV in the Device Order preferences from the Options menu for both Playback and Recording devices.
