CS4 Contribute crashes soon after launch - one page only. Solutions?

Hi, using Contribue CS4 on Mac OS 10.6.8  - I've created a page that is only accessible through its url, not thru the main website (did this to retain privacy). I can currently access and make changes to all web pages connected with the full public website through contribe, but when I call up the URL of the solo page CS4 Contribute crashes. On occassion it shows the background with index of elements (same as a question on may 10, 2011 forum which was unanswered).  Can you help?
