I am sending .xls files using Excel saving it as 97-2003. I just sent two files without a problem. The third file of the same type came up with an error after it started to upload the file. It said "An error occurred while trying to access the service". I have logged on to see what I can do to prevent this and can't find any Support forums related to my question.
I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble. Are you still experiencing this problem when sending this particular XLS file? Have you encountered difficulty with any other XLS (or other) files?
It seems to be working now. I have sent several Word files and an Excel file. Could it be that since I am using an Exchange server through Pinellas County Schools that sets a mailbox size limit of 50MB—If whatever I am sending exceeds my mailbox size perhaps that was why it wouldn’t send anything?
I don't think that's the issue. The whole idea of the SendNow for Outlook is to aid you in sending files larger than that allowed by most mail servers.
I am having the exact same issue and I am unable to covert any files to excel. The error just keep saying "an error occurred while trying to access the service". Is a patch needed by Adobe to fix this issue?
