Hey Adobe,

Since you guys are not providing any support in this forum, where do I go now? Until now I did not see any valid forum in the Apache site what are my options?

Now that Adobe has donated the Flex SDK to Apache, there is an Apache mailing list that you can find at

    http://incubator.apache.org/flex/

Adobe engineers working on Flex are active on the list there.

Are you recommending start posting questions over there rather than here?

There's Flexcoders, too... and Stack Overflow...

HTTPService is outside of my area of expertise.  You could try the BlazeDS forum as well.

What does a network monitor see for packets in this scenario?

Again, this is outside my area of expertise, but I don’t understand the setup.  Is there a timer continuously making requests via HTTPService?  Or is it that you can switch networks and “much later” make a request and that will fail?  What if you use URLLoader instead of HTTPService?

Can you build an actionscript-only project that uses URLLoader and reproduce the issue?
