I am unable to select individual audio cilps in my sequence window. I am able to select the whole track of audio, and I can select video clips. If I want to select an individual audio clip to modify, I cannot. This is the first time I've experienced this problem with Premiere Pro CS5, altough I've only been working with it for a few weeks. I upgraded from CS2 - what a learning curve!
Can anyone tell me what I have set improperly, or why this is happening?
I am using Premiere Pro CS 5.0.3
According to Adobe upater, my programs are up to date.
My operating system is Windows 7 Professional (x64) Service Pack 1 (build 7601).
Codec Type: DV/DVCAM
I am not getting an error message, I cannot select, or right-click on individual audio clips.
I am using .wav audio files.
I have used, selected, and edited these sames files before.
I am running CS5 Premiere Pro and Photoshop, and of course the Windows OS.
Relavant hardware in use Matrox MXO2 Mini
I opened a new project in Premiere Pro, imported audio files, dragged several to the sequence (timeline) and tried to select individual clips to position each by the appropriate visual but could not. I could only use the track selection tool. I could not right-click on the clips. I could select and manipulate the video clips as usual.
Does all the additional information I've provided point toward a solution to my problem?
