Excel VBA

I have a pdf file that i want to open and save as text.. but i want to do it through excel's VBA...Is there a command i can input into my code that does just that? Ive read the interapplication communication pamphlet that adobe has...but im wondering if this can be done quickly and not as messy..thanks
