Can I burn CD on Mac without disconnecting files?

I've read the product literature for PSE 10 and it says you can't insert a CD and burn a backup CD on a Mac. I can create a burn folder and drop and drag files and folders to it, but does that mean that by doing this I would get disconntected files and will have to use Reconnect? Is there anyway I can burn a backup CD on a Mac without moving the files?

    Open the photos in the editor and go to Share>More Options. This will let you back up photos, just not make a PSE backup that the organizer can use to restore.
