How to get timecode from XDCAM HD Proxys

I just imported a bunch of XDCAM HD proxys into premiere cs5,5. Bur unfortunately those clips just arrive without the corresponding timecodes of the original clips. All TC´s start at 0:00:00.
So i can´t use the clips for proxy editing.

Does anybody knows if premiere is capable of importing xdcam Hd proyxs with timecode ?? Or is this just a funtion that isn´t supported.

If it´s not supported - is the a wokaround ??

    Yes...use the originals.  It's what PP was designed for.

    Yes of course - if i had the originals i would use them. But those are still on the way with the camera team.

    PLUS the final editing has to be done on a Final Cut System. So the idea was to use the proxys for the first roughcut  - export a FCP XML - reimport to FCP and relink the proxys to the originals.

    But i guess to make this work i will definitely need a propper timecode
