"notes" feature in a folio

Is there any way in DPS to allow a user to type notes? There are 2 scenerios I'm looking to solve: a personal journal-type entry...and a question & answer where the user types in their own response to a question. I don't need to be able to access or send the user-entered information, but the user needs to be able to see it again if they open back up to that page. Is this possible? Any ideas?

It's possible with HTML5 "local storage".
It works correctly on iPad both in Web Content Overlay and in HTML articles.
But not on Android devices and in Desktop Viewer.
