Zoom key commands should behave like InDesign

Mar 14, 2012 7:26 AM

Hey Adobe: I'd like to see Illustrator's zoom key commands behave like they do in InDesign. In InDe, if you have an item selected and zoom in or out using command/+ or command/- to zoom in or out, the selected item stays in the center of the window. If nothing is selected, the center of the selected artboard would be the defining point. In InDe, it works this way regardless of your zooming method (except of course, for the magnifying glass tool). I can't tell you how often I zoom way in and then can't find what it was I wanted to see up close. Thanks!
