LR 2.7 did not automatically upgrade to 3.0-3.6 when I installed???

How do I up grade an older LR 2.7 catalog to my recently installed LR 3.6

Shouldn't the older LR 2.7 catalog have automatically upgraded when I installed 3.0-3.6???

How can I fix this with out losing my photos from 2.7

Just open that catalog, and it'll be upgraded.

Thanks Lee Jay.
I did open up the older LR 2.7 but it's still opening with the older version.
Could it be that I still have the older 2.7 version and the new 3.6 together in my harddrive?

Was I supposed to do something when I first installed 3.0/ 3.6???
Icould reinstall 3.0/3.6 upgrade. but I'm concerned i'll delete the work I've already done on each

Hi Lee jay,
When I open the catalog of LR2.7 it still opens on 2.7.
It did not convert to 3.0 (or the upgrade of 3.6)
Did I do something wrong in the installation of the 3.) CD?

How can I fix this w/o losing the work I've done?

You probably are on a Mac.
your desktop icon still sends you to LR 2.7.

You should look in Applications.
(Im a PC man but I saw this problem before)
