Export problems after upgrade from 4.0.0 to 4.2.1

Hi people!

 

We have upgraded to from 4.0.0 to 4.2.1 as we needed the higher quality export which isn't available with 4.0.0.

A large project which we are working on seems to be having problems now, since we have upgraded.

The issues seem to be on export (we have tried exporting as avi, quicktime, and flv .. just trying mpeg2 now).  We had exported to mpeg2 & flv previously on 4.0.0.

It seems to start the export and just stop ...

Seems to stop in different places on each export (all within the first 10-20% of the timeline tho...)

 

1st time we opened the project after upgrading it seemed want to import a lot of files again.. (files that were already imported in previous version)

 

Wondering if the tips in here might help ... or not ...

    Hi again

     

    Rolled back to the last known version of the project which worked prevously on 4.0.0 (as in, we were able to export as mpeg2 and flv) .. & don't seem to be able to export on v4.2.1 as flv or mpeg2... using the same settings.  The export goes thru the load process, is about to start encoding, or started encoding and stops soonafter... no error messages that we can see.  Shows elapsed time of 0 .. estimated time remaining (blank).

     

    Very tight deadlines for Eurosport so any help appreciated :-)
