Since you cannot manipulate them in the program itself, is there any system folder i can go into anywhere to manually rearrange them? I have so many folders with effects that it's the point I cannot even make use of a custom bin because the screen isnt tall enough to place both folders on the screen at the same time to drag one effect into the other. To top it off, the screen doesnt auto scroll with the mouse cursor up or down if you grab onto an efect and try and drag it up or down to the bottom of the screen. ugh.
Create a new bin in the Effects Panel - I call mine Favourites. Create 4 bins inside this for Audio and Video Effects and Transitions.
Now drag each of the effects that you want to use regularly from their place in the default panel to your new bin - you can highlight several at a time by CTRL-SHIFT and drag them together. The originals stay where they are, and you get a copy in your new bin.
