Saw this posted on Vimeo - a funny promo piece starring the Conan editors with a few seconds of the next version previewed. Very cool..and looks like some exciting stuff coming!
Little bird mentioned April 15th for release of CS6.
Lets hope its fact!
...always excited to see where Premiere is headed next as it continues to develop.
BTW: I actually have seen CS6 for real today ...but apart from the large vids in the bin...nothing else could be seen or was revealed.
Hearing about possible release date was just fine for me in the meantime.
I am sure there is more than that in PP CS 6.0.
Hopefully, a proper monitoring solution.
Predicated on some of the "feature requests" on the forums, I wonder if they will incorporate some "Creative Effects Presets," so that one could just Select a bunch of Clips in the Project Panel, and then choose "Music Video," "Rap Music Video," "Michael Moore Creative Editing," "Oliver Stone Creative Video," or similar, and then PrPro would just Trim those Clips, jumble them up, add a bunch of Effects, some appropriate music, and spit out a finished product, ready for the Academy Awards, or the MTV Music Video Awards. Sort of like PrElements' Instant Movies, but on major steroids?
Just think of what that would do to the tedium of actually editing!
That could also start a "cottage industry," of folk writing new Creative Effects Presets, based on their favorite director, say the "Sam Peckinpaw Creative Effect," where blood, and detached body parts are added to the footage...
Maybe an Effect that Scales up Kodak ZX5/Playful footage to equal RED 4K, with no loss in quality?
We'll just have to wait and see what PrPro CS6 brings us.

If Adobe have suddenly started to make video cards themselves...you may get your wish.
But dont hold your breath.

Correct me if I have it wrong... but I don't believe Adobe builds CUDA cards,
yet their software is authored to natively utilize that third party hardware.
I know you are already satisfied with your setup, but many more are not.
