Morph/reshape objects in AE 4

Hi

 

What's the best method to reshape a vector in a reasonably easy fashion, sort of like the shape tween in Flash.

 

What I want to do is have a circle then transform it into a document icon and transform it into another shape and so on.

    That title should read AE CS4 not AE 4 sorry..

    Path animation on a mask or shape layer path would be the equivalent of a shape tween. Still, if you adapt your way of thinking, you can use various distortion effects and opacity animation to create invisible transitions. There's a Reshape filter and CC Warpomatic for instance. Depends on whether you prefer a clean look and actualyl placing everything neatly or if some munched pixels inbetwwen are okay by you...
