Content-Aware Move and Patch Tool issue/ bug?

Whenever I use the Content-Aware Move Tool or the Patch Tool the image disappears from my screen, therefore I have no idea what I am selecting. A marquee does not appear on the screen, just the mouse icon is visible. When I release my mouse button or remove my pen from my tablet the image reappears however the selection is quite random, since I could not view what I was "highlighting." Anyone else having this issue or is there a quick fix? Thanks.

    We need some more info. What OS? What card? What driver?

     

    FAQ: I found a bug. How do I write a useful bug report?

    FAQ: How do I share my System Information?

     

    Sounds like a video card driver issue. Determine what video card you have and go directly to the manufacturers website (nVidia or ATI/AMD) and download the latest driver. GPU and OpenGL support | Photoshop CS4, CS5: http://adobe.ly/OpenGL

     

    Let us know if that fixes your issue.

    My drivers were up-to-date. The problem/glitch didn't seem to happen after I restarted the program though. Thanks for your help Jeffrey.Date: Thu, 22 Mar 2012 23:00:18 -0600
