Which Preloader screen for Captivate v5.5

Hi,

 

Can anyone confirm which is the correct version of preloader screen to select for Captivate v5.5 ?

 

I have two options to select from as diplayed below and need to be sure I am using the right one - as my tech people are saying the preloader I am currently using (AS3 cylinder.swf) is causing a problem. It loads OK with Firefox but not with IExplorer.

    The GIFs are just images, not dynamic preloaders.

    You should be be using one of the SWFs in the AS3 folder.  If you current preloader is not working try the default.swf one.  That's what I usually use with IE and have not experienced issues.

    Thanks. I will try the default.swf and see if that makes a difference.

    Rod,

     

    Do you know a quick and easy way to preview each of the .swf preloaders ?

    Would be nice to take a look at the animation before selecting one.

    Just double-click the SWF. It should open up and play in Internet Explorer (unless you have SWF configured for editing in some other application).  IE will show the animation but it cannot show you the percentage of file loaded this way because that relies on the animation knowing the file size etc.  It should still give you a good idea of what the preloader looks like.
