Importing tool presets to CS6

Is there a global way of importing tool presets to CS6 other than going to each tool in CS5, saving the presets and then loading them in CS6?

Note sure if this is the correct forum, but the same question applies to colelctions in CS5, can they be copied to CS6?  or do they need to be recreated again?

Thanks

From the edit menu select Presets/Migrate Presets

Hello, Dewcal, if the presets are not saved, they cannot be imported. You might very well have lost them during a crash!

Had they been saved in the default location? I think Migrate looks in the default location. If you have Presets saved to a different location Export/Import Presets allows you to select preset location to import from.

Odd, works for me. The default location for saving Presets is user/library/Application Support/Adobe/Photoshop (version)/Presets. If I have presets saved there they migrate. If I have saved to Applications/Photoshop/Presets I was able to use Import, but you have to select each folder and import. Imported presets are added to the default user/library location.

    Hello,

@Dewcal: Please make sure the presets you saved in CS5 are saved in the default location, and files with same names don't exist in your CS6 default preset folder. Migrate presets ignores existing files.

Migration will only carry the files over, you need to restart the app to see the files from the Fly-Out menu in the respective panels and load them.

Thank you for your feedback, hope this solves your problem.
