I have tried to install my plug in software to CS 6 and not one single plug in will work, it appeasr to be a beautiful program, but with no plug in support, it is useless to me
All my plug-ins work just fine. I don't sense any reduction in plug-in support by Photoshop CS6 over its predecessors.
You should realize:
What plug-ins, specifically, are you trying to make work, and how are you trying to install them?
all my CS5 plugins work in CS6 (imagenomic, topaz, nik, alienskin).
there are several threads about this already where you can look for infos.
of course you should not copy all the plugins that come with CS5 over to CS6.
the plugin folder structure from CS6 has changed.
What directory did you install your old plug ins? My onOne Perfect Photo Suite is installed in the directory that came up for Photoshop CS6 but I noticed that there are two - one for 64 bit and one in the Program files for x86 64 bit. They were installed here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6\Plug-ins which was the only location available for CS6. The only plug in that shows up correctly in the program ss the new Nik Color Effex Pro 4. I'm very disappointed and frustrated at this point.
Win 7 64bit with 16GB Ram.
I downloaded onOne's 6.0.2 latest version of the suite (which is purchased) and already in my LR4 and CS5. And then ran the onOne installer to choose to run it for CS6 Beta. The only choice it gave me for CS6 was....Photoshop 60.0 - located @ C/ProgramFiles (86) Adobe/AdobePhotoshopCS6. I've also tried to install directly into the plug in folder but haven't had any success. It is in there but does not show in the program even after a cold boot. Any suggestions?

Keeping in mind that some plug-ins aren't simple and require files other than those that go under the plug-ins folder...
On a 64 bit system, if you're doing manual installs and don't yet have an updated installer from the manufacturer:
32 bit simple plug-ins go here
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6\Plug-ins
64 bit simple plug-ins go here
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\Plug-ins
I do happen to know that the OnOne plug-ins are not simple and require you to locate the files they've installed into Photoshop CS5's main installation folder. This thread shows one example:
