Making form fields from Illustrator typable?

Mar 25, 2012 4:40 PM

I created a form in Illustrator and now want to bring it into Acrobat so that I can set it up so a user can type directly in the document?

1. Which version of Acrobat will do this?

2. Which feature do I need to look for to do this?

Thanks.

Any version of Acrobat Pro, and recent versions of Acrobat Standard, will allow you to add interactive form fields. You cna use the Form Wizard to automatically detect and create form fields. It's not perfect and usually requires some revisions, but it may help. More info is available in the Acrobat help doc.
