I was having the same issue and it seemed to have been described in the following threads as well with no fixes:

I finally got around to doing a clean install on my SSD and decided to troubleshoot this. After a lot of image backups and restores and one program installation and windows update at a time, I think (at least for me) I've found the culprit of the error. This error only shows itself when I have TeamViewer running. It doesn't seem to matter if I have TeamViewer installed on my OS drive or a secondary hard drive, or if I have the VPN feature installed or not. I don't have to uninstall TeamViewer to make the error go away, I only need to exit the program and stop it from running. Hopefully someone smarter than me can explain a good workaround. Thanks!
Well done SntaCruz83, you've solved my problem with both Flash and Illustrator crashing on exit. I have TeamViewer 7 installed and if I exit this before launching Flash / Illustrator they both open and close as expected.
My thanks to you,
R
FYI I have just submitted a support ticket to TeamViewer and I note that someone else has done similar to Adobe, perhaps we should be encouraging TeamViewer and Adobe to talk with each other as I'm not quite sure who the culprit is on this.
Update from my TeamViewer trouble ticket on this subject.
This is the reply from TeamViewer and it seems to work i.e. Flash and Illustrator both act as expected...
"Open TeamViewer, go to Extras>options>Advanced>Show Advanced Options?>QuickConnect then click on Configure. In these options, please uncheck the box that states "Show QuickConnect button". Then please restart TeamViewer and test the connection again."
An alternative to this is (in the same location) to Add Illustrator.exe and Flash.exe to the list of programs the QuickConnect buttons is disabled for.

Done it. Yup. Caused by that little "tick" in Team Viewer!
For now AI don't give me that crash message anymore, after 5 minutes of testing though.
Will come back when and if this thing happens again.
Thanks All!
Regards,
Alfie
N.B.: Happened to my home PC too and disabled this function. Now works well and my work PC is performing flawlessly, for Illustrator that is. ![]()
Today i installed CS6 Master Collection on Windows 7 64 bit.
The same problem happens with CS6 and Teamviewer (last version as of today) with illustrator.
And closing teamviewer or disabling the QuickConnect button resolves the problem.
It's time that Teamviewer and Adobe programmer teams sync to resolve it.
Since you requested it, if you would still like an explanation to the problem you had been having between TeamViewer and Illustrator, check my hypothesis in "Illustrator CS5 Crashing on Exit".
