Change default transition on images imported to project

Captivate v5.5

 

When I create an image (outside of captivate) and add it to a slide in my project - it's transition properties are set to fade in/out by default.

 

Where can I locate the option to change this to default setting ?

    Edit > Preferences > Defaults> Object Defaults > Image > Effect

    Noel, and if you set this Preferences before opening a project (Preferences and Objects Style Manager are accessible), this will be set for your future project. I always start with that: turning off all transitions, and changing the object styles before opening a projecT.

    That is a very good recommenadation and I will make sure i do the same before i open a new project.
