V19 Update: Scrollable Text frames embedded in MSOs don't work on the iPad

Mar 12, 2012 11:14 PM

After V19 update,

Scrollable Text frames embedded in MSOs don't work on the iPad viewer, as same as V18.

Is this function not featured on v19?

Have you updated to 1.9.1. Maybe try to uninstall producer tools and

    install them again.

I tried it on my machine and it worked.

I'm probably being stupid, but I cant see 1.9.1 only 1.9.

Also is 1.9.1 the "A" version that Zecke mentioned in the last webinar?

    Cheers

    Alistair

I think the version number is only mentioned on the actualbdowbload page.

This is version a. There was no update to the producer tools since the

    release of iPad 3.

I think the community would appreciate if someone can share a working example of scrollable frames embeded in a MSO. I'm using the latest tools and they are not working on the ipad for me.

    Thank you.

    José.

Here is my example, scrollable text works fine after the latest folio builder panel update (12.1.3.20120307), I haven't updated my producer tools to the current set because I'm waiting for the Content Viewer to be approved by Apple, hopefully sometime this year they decide to do it.

One of the helpful tips regarding this issue is simply to Name the container frame the scrollable content.

    See here.
