Just an observation really.
In PS CS5, you could launch / access Bridge from the Bridge Icon at the top of the screen, now (I think) you can only do this by clicking Mini Bridge link at the bottom of the screen and then clicking on the Bridge icon. I personally preferred it when you had direct access to Bridge via the icon at the top of the screen.
File > Browse in Bridge or Alt + Ctrl + O should get you there.

I have two 24in monitors. That itty bitty 10x10 icon doesn't eat up a lot of room, neither does the tool/app bar.

With that much screen space you could always undock the Mini-Bridge panel so that the [BR] icon is always available.

It's a matter of work flow. Also not both monitors are used when photo editing. A 10x10 icon doesn't take up that much room. MiniBridge slows the process. Put the itty bitty icon BACK! Removing it was a crappy change.
Saving that little bit of space??? Just to take up even more space with MB???? (which Sucks anyway). All the other complaints about this misadventure by the Adobe team are spot on! Bring back the icon in the menu bar. This has to go down as the most ignorant change in the history off PS. FIX-IT!!!
