collect credit card info w/out processing until later

I have a client who collects orders for different printers and wants to have a form online where a client can choose what he/she wants, enter their credit card info and submit the order. The only thing is that my client does not want to charge the credit card until later when he figures where the item is being printed and shipped from - then he will have exact weight and shipping info. He also wants to manually enter the credit card info into his parent companies system and use their cc processing.

 

So is there a way to collect this information securely?  {https}?

    You shouldn't collect credit information directly using FormsCentral because we are not PCI complaint (we are not certified to store credit cards). Our PayPal integration is the way you should collect money. However, in your case I don't think it would meet your needs. There is no way to take a credit card number and not charge it.
