I want to download Adobe After Effects CS5.5 on the Adobe Download Assistant and it says: "Error with communicating with Adobe.com (Error 107). Restart Adobe Download Assistant and try to add the product again."

I think the answer to your first question is: At C:/Users/(My User Name)/Downloads
...And I don't know if you're talking about my computer or the Adobe Program. I don't know what version the Adobe Download Assistant is but heres the link from where I downloaded it (I hope this helps): http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=after_effects
xXSPARTAN369Xx from the destination you have indicated it appears you are using some form of Windows. If you could determine which version it would be appreciated.
I would recommend initiating the download again. When it prompts you select a download location please choose your User folder or Desktop.
Click on the wrench icon in the top right hand corner. Go to Tools and select Clear browsing data... You will see an option to clear your cookies there.
Were you able to successfully locate and delete the Local Store folder? Also where are you choosing for the location to download your install files too?
xXSPARTAN369Xx this is why you keep receiving the error 107. I would recommend either selecting your User folder or Desktop folder to save the install files. Once the download is complete the installer will launch automatically to install the application in your Program files folder.
