I started downloading Photoshop CS5 Extended over 9 hours ago, and it's still going. I did get an error report saying that an image could not be downloaded. Is that why it's taking so long? Help, please!
I'm using Google Chrome on a MacBook Air. What kind of info do you need about my network connection? I'm not sure how to answer that. I think it's DSL wifi connection. I know it's wifi at least. I downloaded InDesign and Illustrator okay. The warning pop up says, "The following disk images couldn't be opened: Photoshop_12_1_LS1.dgm, Reason: invalid checksum."
Go to Finder > Type Disk Utility > Preferences and simply unchecking the box that says "Verify Checksums" . Close Disk Utility. Then Creative suite dmg should open fine and the program should install without any issues.
(You might want to re-check the verify checksums box after you've finished the installation though because it's there to help prevent the installation of corrupted .dmgs that could potentially harm your computer)
