How do I add links to external web pages or email addresses?

I need to add a link to another website like "http://www.example.com" and add mailto links to email addresses like "janedoe@example.com". How do I do this?

Follow the steps outlines in the section
Adding external links to images

This same principal applies when adding external and email address links to text, rectangles and other page elements within Muse.

The link is there as such but when I click on the link nothing happens - what is the reason for this?

It's cool - it seems to not work in preveiw mode but when published the link works.
