Can't Install RAW 6.6 Update

The Adobe Application Manager keeps trying to install the 6.6 RAW update, only to fail.  It apparently downloads the entire file.  Then the message pops up.  I tried using the Adobe Support Advisor with no results.  When I tried customer support, I didn't see anything that applied to this particular error code.  Any constructive advice will be greatly appreciated!

try disabling the auto analyzer. you can try using the hidden administrator to update the software.

Beyond Johan's suggestions I would recommend posting your inquiry in the Camera RAW forum.  The users there are going to be more familiar with the issues particular to updating Camera RAW.

Johan, how do you disable the auto analyzer? I am having exactly the same problem.

Moving this discussion to the Adobe Camera RAW forum.

One possibility: installing from a network share is frequently problematic with Adobe software and ACR is no exception. If you have the software on a share, try copying it to a local disk.
