LR4.1 and Wacom tablets

After installing LR4.1, neither of my Wacom tablets (wired and wireless) were programmable with it.  I had to reinstall LR4.0.  Now all is well again.  Whatever improvements LR4.1 might have created for me, they weren't worth not being able to use my Wacoms.

    Jack, thanks for the info...I'll hold off with upgrading to LR v4.1 until I see some reply or explanantion from those that know better.

    My Wacom Intous 4 is working with LR4.1RC....  Try getting latest driver?

    Also try reboot the machine after you installed the driver. I am not aware of any changes in 4.1 RC that would change anything related to tablet support.

    I have installed the latest Wacom driver.  And I have rebooted.  Neither helped.  Since 4.0 is working for me, I won't get too concerned until it ceases to be a beta.

    My Wacom keys stopped working with LR4.1. I tried everything... Restarting, redefining, etc. No good. So I restored to V4 via Time Machine and the Wacom keys work again. Goofy!

    I dragged LR4.1 to the trash and then re-installed LR4.0.  Now the Wacom keys work fine.  Wacom's only solution was to upgrade the driver, which I did, but it didn't help.  So my choice is either to use LR4.1 without the keys; or to use LR4.0 with the keys.

    This is my experience as well.  LR4.1 killed all of my LR4.0 Intuos4 programed keys.  Have the most recient driver for my tablet.  Had to go back to LR4.0 for the tablet to work again.  Not sure if it matters, I sure hope it doesn't, but I'm still on Snow Lepard not Lion.

    I am using LR4.1 without my Wacom keys.  The pen works fine.

    4.1 RC1 working fine here with an Intuos 4 but I'm on Lion 10.7.3.

    The problem seems to be Snow Leopard specific.

    People using Lion are not having a problem.  (So it must be an Apple-created bug designed to get us to upgrade.))  )

    Me too with 10.7.3 the last wacom drivers, i reboot, reinstall the driver but nothing to do the wacon don't work with 4.1 RC !!!!!

     

    I can't reinstall the 4 cause of 5D Mk III, please a quick debug !

    Helpful to know that some Lion users also have the problem.  So updating from 10.6.8 is not necessarily a fix.

    Same here. I'm on 10.7.3 with Lightroom 4.1 RC, Wacom Intous 5 touch and Wacom keys / application specific setup does NOT longer work.
