I am not able to open my files from Adobe Bridge and I am not able to drag files from it into Indesign, Photoshop or Acrobat (I think it's the same with Illustrator too). Further Indesign, Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat sometimes do not open files when I double click them in Windows Explorer, Total Commander or even Bridge. The only stable way to open all files is through file/open which is very annoying. What can I do to fix this?
The file associations are fine (indd files are associated to Indesign, psd files to Photoshop and so on).
The reason why I am writing is that it works, but now always. I can double click files in the Windows explorer or Totalcommander and they open. Rarely they don't. And they never open from Bridge which is the weirdest thing for me. I can't open basically anything through Bridge. I was not able to pinpoint what exactly gets the files to not open and this has been a problem for some time now.
The system I use is a 64 bit Windows 7 professional with 8 GB of RAM. The Photoshop is the 64 bit version.
I am using the CS5 versions of the programs and Adobe Acrobat Pro 9. All programs are up to date.
