Realized I should ask this question in DreamWeaver, not HTML5 group.
I just completed a site - it's huge for me, over 100 pages, 160+ before it's through. Using WebAssist (SecurityAssist, Universal eMail, DataAssist) products and a tech support guy there said I should be using includes for my nav menus, not library assets. I figure he's right, there's got to be an easier way. Every change to these library assets requires me to upload each and every page.
What are includes and how do I easily convert my library assets into Includes in DreamWeaver CS5.5? This is a php site and is already live!!!
What's the address of your website?

IMO Library items are junk. They're not flexible and as you said, you have to republish every page that uses them. I would remove them all and replace with SSIs.

The w3c site was helpful in suggesting require() instead of include() and no shorthand. Had an issue with the path ../../ where I was trying to use the names instead of the periods. I'm good to go now.
