I've seen this too.

Try using FontBook (or whatever font organizer you have) to see if you have any duplicate fonts active.

Thanks for the reply Charles, I use Fontexplorer Pro for font management, but this was happening to EVERY font in (and only in) the Photoshop CS6 dropdown menu (Illustrator, InDesign, Freehand all OK).

So I just quit and restarted CS6 and problem seems to have resolved (for now!)

Glad you got it fixed Les.

I still have this "double Font Style" pop up often, and I can't seem to track it down. I'm having another, maybe unrelated, PsCS6 font problem. If I restart PsCS6 (reset prefs) and create a new document, and type some text, it will be minutes before I can change the typeface. ("Could not complete your request because of program error" message appears)

I'm wondering if you see the same delay.

Restart PsCS6 with reset prefs.

Open new file default size.

Select Type Tool and type a word, commit type.

Now try to change typeface of the word you typed, either via options bar or Character Panel.

Sorry Charles, no delay here, it sounds like you may have something more going on with your system. Having said that, it is Beta software and we have chosen to be the guinea pigs!

Yeah, I think so too. I recently downloaded a dozen or so "distressed" fonts for a project I'm working on.

However, the delay problem is only appearing in PsCS6, not CS5 or any other Adobe product.

We have a script that may help with corrupted font issues and duplicate font entries.
