Exporting AeLS2.5 content to MS Word

Hello

Does Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5 allow me to export content to MS Word for editing? Does it only export screen captures or does it export screen text too?

Any help is much appreciated.

You mean Captivate? If yes, then the answer is yes.

Hi Steve

Thank you so much for your response. I am new to Captivate, which I understand is part of the entire Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5 package.

I read this older post about a person attempting to do what I am intending. Granted, he was on Captivate 3.

So I guess, yes, I am talking about Captivate. And, I want to be able to export the screen captures + any text I have in Captivate all to the Word document.

Hi Scotti and welcome to our community

I believe this thread is much better suited to the Adobe Captivate forum, so I'll be moving it there shortly.

While you may certainly export content to Word, you won't be able to massage images there and bring them back into Captivate. You can do this with the text elements, but not images.

That's fabulous! Thank you. It was more the answer about whether or not BOTH images AND text would be exported to Word where then I could massage the text. I would not then be bringing them back to Captivate.

If this is better suited in the Capitivate forum, by all means. As new as I am, I wasn't sure where to post it.
