CS6 Alpha Channel bug

Hi!  Alpha channels when created or saved in Photoshop CS6 do not appear to work with InDesign CS5.  I've saved many alphas in cs6 beta, which all stay in tact when I open the files in cs5, but do not import to InDesign.  This appears to be a bug.  Has anyone else encountered this yet?

    I've passed this on to the engineers for looking at, they'll respond to you within a few days on this.

    It's a known bug in InDesign CS5 and older.

    The InDesign team is aware of this and working on fixes.

    Thanks!  It's a random issue - but where I work it came up for a few dozen alpha channeled images that designers are using in InDesign.  I opened the same psd I did in cs6 in cs5 and resaved the tiffs - that's the only way I can see it working at the moment.  Wee!
